Prof. Halil Can Gemalmaz, MD

Prof. Dr. Halil Can Gemalmaz completed his medical education and specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine, one of Turkey’s leading medical institutions. He continued his academic and surgical career for over a decade at Acıbadem University Faculty of Medicine, where he contributed extensively to both clinical practice and academic research.

He currently serves as a Professor at the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Atlas University, reflecting his strong academic background and clinical expertise.

Prof. Dr. Halil Can Gemalmaz is recognized as one of the pioneering surgeons in Turkey who introduced computer-assisted three-dimensional (3D) technologies in the correction of bone deformities and extremely complex cases. He is particularly known for his extensive experience and expertise in deformity surgery.

In addition to deformity correction, his clinical interests include spine disorders, joint replacement surgery (hip and knee arthroplasty), and sports injury surgery. His approach combines advanced surgical techniques with evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.

Professor Gemalmaz currently accepts his patients at his private clinic located in Fulya, Beşiktaş, Istanbul.
